When visiting Berlin it can be quite difficult to discover all of its wonderful sights by yourself. Just imagine someone from Berlin coming to London. Sure they know to visit the London Eye and Big Ben, but without a fellow Londoner showing them the awesome places which are hard to discover, they will truly miss out on the experience they wanted. The same goes with visiting Berlin, it is best to use a tour guide to show you the incredible things you just couldn’t discover without one! But just which tours are best suited for you? Well, that’s what we’re going to find out:

BlackBird Tours
Those of you with a great interest in the history of war, in particular the Second World War, will definitely enjoy this tour! It is run by a nice young lady who really knows her stuff when it comes to Berlins Nazi history. With scheduled tours and private tours of both the history of War and even ghosts, you will sure to be in for a treat!

City Segway Tours
I promise you that there isn’t an easier and more entertaining way to get around Germany’s capital, than the Segway tours. If you’ve never used a Segway before, well it feels almost like something out of a futuristic movie. Walking is completely eliminated, making the tour a breeze rather than a painful workout! The tour guides no their stuff and will show you around some really fantastic places such as the Jewish memorial, Hitler’s Bunker, Museum Island and Brandenburg Gate. Of course that is just a taste of the amazing places they will show you, so I definitely advise this tour for absolutely anyone visiting Berlin!

Original Berlin Walks
This tour is not only free but definitely suited to those of you who want to see the main sights and more! From a tour of the old Jewish quarter and the Jewish memorial sights to Berlin’s royal residence – , this tour really has it all and will even offer tours to student groups.

Inside Tours
If you want energy and enthusiasm in your tour then Inside Tours is the way to go! Explore Berlins 20th century European history with some of the best tour guides around. In particular the popular tour guide Barnaby who seems to know Berlin inside out and shows this by pointing out little things along the way, such as Michael Jacksons old balcony. You might want to take some tissues along with you because once you get up to near the bunker and SSHQ, the talks can become a little emotional.

Alternative Berlin Tours
Last but certainly not least on this list of the most amazing tours in Berlin, is the Alternative Berlin Tours! Visit places no tour guide will take you and learn about what life is really like in Berlin. Be introduced to some local street artists, get talking to some awesome musicians and be shown the best place to skate and the best places to shop for vintage clothing and accessories. It’s definitely a more popular tour with the younger generation who are more interested in Berlin’s urban lifestyle than its war history. There is even the option to go on a pub crawl with them once it gets dark! You could end up having the time of your life going on this tour!

So no matter which tour you decide to go on, whether it’s Berlin’s history or its Berlins lifestyle, I’m sure you will have an absolutely amazing time!
